  1. Hello,
My wife Carla and I are happy to have discovered you and love your blog. We are in our mid-fifties and starting a life change to travel and live the life we’ve dreamed of.

Our first question is how you interact with other bloggers to share content. As new bloggers we would love to be a part of what you have started and help us on our way.

Second, we are planning a trip to Florence and Venice and considering Bologna. We’ll be reading your content for inspiration!

Thanks so much, and we look forward to hearing back from you.

    All the best,
    Ed and Carla Little

    • Hi Ed and Carla! Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it! 🙂 So glad to hear you are embarking on this new, exciting chapter. Living in Italy really changed me for the better, and I hope the same for you! I definitely recommend a trip to Bologna. Decide in advance when you would like to go, and buy your train ticket in advance. There are almost exclusively fast trains between Florence and Bologna, and they can be expensive. You could do it on the way to Venice, actually.

When it comes to interacting with other bloggers, I recommend checking out the “reader” section of your wordpress dashboard, and scrolling through blogs that are in the categories you are interested in, like travel or Italy. If you like a post, then do what you did with me and comment. Then follow them and they will automatically come up in your reader feed. Check your feed often, and continue to comment and interact with the bloggers you find and like. Also, you can participate in the Daily Post blog challenges every week by doing your own post and linking to it, and reading other posts and commenting. Slow and steady wins the race…if you keep this up, you will grow! 🙂 Hope this answers all of your questions…
